What we do
The group works in four areas. Each company keeps its own name and customers. Behind the scenes, they share purchasing, shipping, IT and administration.
Wholesale: Aesculaap and Van Ree supply vets and pet shops.
Online shops: Dierenapotheek.nl, Dierapotheek.com, DrPetCare, Pharmacy4pets, Jachtinstinct, Petlux and RHR Pets.
Stores: BudgetPets, the pet discounter. The first store opened in July 2026.
Services: the Huisdierenapp (pet app), NPRM (horse registration) and Vitaux (marketing for the animal health sector).
Growth strategy
We grow in two ways. We acquire or invest in companies with a strong market position and a distinctive edge, such as Petlux, which we integrate into the group and help grow further.
And where the market calls for it, we build businesses ourselves. That is how we started BudgetPets: stores with high-quality products for every budget.
We are looking for entrepreneurs in Europe who want to become part of our mission. This is how we drive our growth and strengthen our market position.
